Aaditya Desai, DO

Aaditya Desai, DO is a board-certified emergency medicine physician at St. Joseph’s Health, serving patients across the emergency department and urgent care settings. With over a decade of clinical experience, he delivers compassionate, high-quality care for a full spectrum of acute conditions, from chest pain and respiratory distress to traumatic injuries and medical emergencies.

Known for his calm demeanor under pressure and excellent communication, Dr. Desai prioritizes listening to patients and crafting clear, coordinated care plans. Dr. Desai earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a combined residency in emergency medicine and family medicine at Provident Hospital of Cook County and St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, Illinois, where he served as chief resident.
