Adnan Danish, MD is a board-certified radiation oncologist currently serving as Chief of the Division of Radiation Oncology at St. Joseph's Health and holds an appointment as Assistant Professor in the Division of Oncology at the Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine. He also practices at the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, where he serves as an attending physician. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Danish specializes in treating all types of cancers, including central nervous system, lung, head and neck, prostate, breast, and gastrointestinal malignancies.
Throughout his career, Dr. Danish has demonstrated expertise in advanced radiation techniques and has been instrumental in implementing innovative technologies. He has contributed to clinical research with publications in peer-reviewed journals and maintains active membership in prestigious professional organizations including the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and The Radiosurgery Society.
Dr. Danish completed his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2001. He completed his radiation oncology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident and received the Montefiore Young Investigator Award. He has extensive training in various radiation therapy treatment modalities.
