Barry Schair, MD

Barry D. Schair, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, serving at St. Joseph’s Health since 2010. As a leader in cardiovascular medicine, he specializes in comprehensive cardiac care, including nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Dr. Schair is known for delivering personalized, patient-centered treatment for conditions ranging from coronary artery disease to complex arrhythmias, and for guiding patients through advanced imaging and preventive strategies.

Dr. Schair earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and went on to complete fellowship training in cardiology at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College. In addition to his clinical credentials, he holds an MBA in Finance from New York University, and maintains board certifications in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography.
