Cheryl Panem, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. She treats children of all ages, from caring for newborns to guiding teenagers, with skill and compassion. She uses her decades of experience to perform wellness checks and is adept at detecting speech, motor or learning disorders, as well as treating typical childhood illnesses and conditions. Dr. Panem is dedicated to serving a diverse population and learned Spanish to improve communications with her patients and their families. Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Panem is also a faculty member at St. Joseph’s Health and trains future pediatricians with a focus on caring for the underserved.
Dr. Panem earned her medical degree from the University of St. Thomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. She completed her internship and residency at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
