Dr. Jideofor Aniukwu is a board-certified general and trauma surgeon at St. Joseph’s Health, bringing advanced expertise in trauma surgery and surgical critical care. Known for his steady leadership in high-pressure situations, Dr. Aniukwu is dedicated to delivering precise and compassionate surgical care while guiding patients and families through complex recovery pathways.

Dr. Aniukwu earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and completed a surgical internship at Montefiore Medical Center. He went on to complete his general surgery residency at Montefiore and fellowship training in surgical critical care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. He holds board certification in both general surgery and surgical critical care from the American Board of Surgery.
