Jill Menell, MD

Jill S. Menell, MD is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at St. Joseph’s Health, a role she has held for more than 25 years. With over three decades of experience in caring for children with blood disorders and cancer, Dr. Menell is especially known for her expertise in pediatric hematology, including the diagnosis and long-term management of sickle cell disease and other complex blood conditions. She is deeply committed to improving quality of life for children living with chronic hematologic disorders through coordinated, compassionate and evidence-based care.

Dr. Menell earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She completed her pediatrics residency at Kings County Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in pediatric hematology and oncology at Kings County Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric hematology-oncology.
