John Danks, MD

John Danks, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vascular surgeon who specializes in complex open and endovascular (catheter-based) vascular surgery.  His surgical interests center on comprehensive management of arterial vascular disease, including the medical, catheter-based, and open surgical treatment for all aspects of atherosclerosis. He also specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic deep venous thrombosis, thoracic and abdominal aortic pathology, carotid artery disease, and hemodialysis access. Dr. Danks offers the most advanced minimally invasive surgical approaches, allowing for reduced post-operative pain and quicker recovery times. He uses his knowledge to provide customized patient-centered treatment plans for all aspects of vascular disease and creates lifelong relationships with his patients to ensure continued success in achieving excellent medical outcomes and to improve their quality of life.

Dr. Danks completed his bachelor's degree at Georgetown University and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Mount Sinai, followed by a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center.
