Michael Biehl, MD

Michael Biehl, MD, is a triple board-certified cardiologist and electrophysiologist who serves as Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at St. Joseph’s Health. With more than 35 years of experience in cardiovascular care, Dr. Biehl excels in the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders and pacemaker management. His patient-centered approach and clinical leadership have helped advance cardiac care and improve outcomes across the community.

Dr. Biehl earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at UMDNJ–Newark. He completed fellowships in pacemaker management at Beth Israel Medical Center, in cardiology at UMDNJ, and in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center.

Since 2003, he has directed the Electrophysiology program at St. Joseph’s Health and previously headed the Pacemaker Center. Dr. Biehl is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
