Nancy Shen, DO, is a fellowship-trained minimally invasive surgeon specializing in general, foregut, hernia, and metabolic and bariatric surgery. She provides individualized surgical care for patients with obesity and a broad range of gastrointestinal and abdominal conditions, with an emphasis on minimally invasive and robotic approaches designed to support recovery and improve patient outcomes.

Her clinical interests include metabolic and bariatric surgery, abdominal wall hernia repair, and reflux procedures. Dr. Shen is also actively involved in clinical research, with work presented at national meetings including the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).

Dr. Shen earned her medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. She completed her general surgery residency through the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine program, followed by advanced fellowship training in gastrointestinal minimally invasive surgery at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.
