Perliza Emde, APN, is a board-certified critical care nurse and nurse practitioner specializing in rheumatology at St. Joseph’s Health. With more than two decades of service, she brings deep clinical experience and heartfelt dedication to her role. After years in critical care, she transitioned to rheumatology to advocate for patients living with autoimmune diseases, offering both advanced care and compassionate guidance.

Perliza is passionate about helping patients understand their treatment options and take an active role in managing their health. She earned her advanced nursing degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
