Prem Patel, MD

Prem Patel, MD is a board-certified cardiologist based at St. Joseph’s Health. With advanced training and expertise in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and CT imaging, he delivers comprehensive, evidence-based cardiac care to his patients. Dr. Patel is known for personalized patient-centered care. Patients love his clarity in communication and commitment to heart health education and prevention. 

Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed both his internship and internal medicine residency at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. He went on to complete fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the same institution. Dr. Patel holds board certifications in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, and is certified in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular CT, and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
