Rahul Vasudev, MD, is a structural heart and interventional cardiologist at St. Joseph’s Health, with advanced expertise in treating complex cardiac conditions through minimally invasive techniques. Board-certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiology and internal medicine; his clinical focus includes structural heart disease, adult congenital heart conditions, and high-risk coronary interventions. He is one of the few interventional cardiologists in the region with specialized training in structural heart disease, particularly in the percutaneous treatment of complex valvular heart conditions.

Dr. Vasudev is particularly passionate about advancing the treatment of valvular heart disease through innovative procedures such as transcatheter valve replacements and repairs, offering patients effective alternatives to open-heart surgery. Known for his advanced expertise and patient-centered approach, Dr. Vasudev is dedicated to delivering innovative cardiac care while guiding patients and their families through complex heart conditions with clarity and compassion.

Dr. Vasudev earned his medical degree from Government Medical College, Jammu in India. He completed fellowships in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. He further advanced his training through a fellowship in Structural and Congenital Heart Disease at Hackensack University Medical Center.
