Sami Abdulmassih, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at St. Joseph’s Health, dedicated to providing comprehensive, whole-person care for patients of all ages. He focuses on preventive health, chronic disease management, and wellness promotion, building long-term relationships with his patients and their families to support lifelong well-being.

With additional fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine, Dr. Abdulmassih brings a unique perspective to musculoskeletal health and injury prevention. His clinical approach integrates his family medicine foundation with a keen understanding of orthopedic conditions, making him especially skilled in managing joint, muscle, and mobility concerns within the primary care setting. Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Abdulmassih values clear communication with his patients.

Dr. Abdulmassih earned his medical degree from the University of Damascus Faculty of Human Medicine and completed internships and residency training in general surgery and orthopedic surgery at the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine. He pursued fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and later completed a residency in family medicine at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.
