Dr. Toghrul Talishinskiy is a double board-certified minimally invasive surgery specialist who serves as the Director of Robotic Surgery and Chief of Bariatric Surgery at St. Joseph’s Health. He is also the Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgical Fellowship at St. Joseph’s Health. Dr. Talishinskiy specializes in using minimally invasive procedures to treat hernias, gallbladder conditions, heartburn issues and other major abdominal surgeries with minimal discomfort to his patients.

He also specializes in weight loss procedures, including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and other minimally invasive techniques to treat obesity and related conditions. He uses a compassionate approach in partnering with patients to create customized treatment plans, guiding them towards a healthy, fulfilling life.

Dr. Talishinskiy earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, completed his residency at New York University Medical Center and performed his fellowship at Hackensack University Medical Center. He is board-certified in both surgery and surgical critical care. He has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Talishinskiy speaks English, Turkish and Russian.
